Wrist Support (FCC Recovery)

Key points

• FCC (Flexor Carpi Cubitalis / wrist flexor) injuries require compression to reduce inflammation and support tendon alignment during repair
• Wrist supports limit extreme ranges of motion that would re-stress the healing fibres while allowing normal activities
• Tendons heal slowly — 6–12 weeks minimum; rushing return to load is the most common cause of re-injury
• Use during resistance training and heavy carries; remove for fine motor tasks where wrist mobility is needed
• Complement with: collagen + vitamin C (structural repair), omega-3 (anti-inflammatory), and eccentric loading exercises
